EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) and The Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals have just released Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals with Full Text, a robust new resource for architecture and design researchers and students. The new product is offered alongside the existing Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals, which continues to provide citation-only indexing.
Produced in collaboration with the Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library at Columbia University, the full-text database covers the history and practice of architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, city planning, historic preservation, interior design, and sustainable design.
The full-text collection currently includes 200+ active journals and magazines, of which 153 are peer-reviewed. Of those, 119 are available with no embargo, and 109 are indexed in Web of Science or Scopus.
Key titles in the full-text collection include Architectural Science Review, L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui, Arkitektur, Architects’ Journal, Built Environment, En Blanco: Revista de Arquitectura, Future Anterior: Journal of Historic Preservation History, Theory, & Criticism, International Journal of Islamic Architecture, Journal of Planning History, Landscape Journal, Log, Topos, Traditional Dwellings & Settlements Review, Twentieth Century Architecture, and Wallpaper, among many others.
Access will be available to current Columbia affiliates through CLIO. Questions about the Avery Index can be directed to avery-index@library.columbia.edu.
