There is a server failure at Lexis Nexis causing intermittent problems with Lexis Nexis Academic.  Because there are still 3 fully-functioning servers in the array, they suggest closing all browser windows and reconnecting in order to access the product while they work on a technical solution.

I will keep you posted as I get updates from Lexis Nexis – and in the meantime, please consider the workaround mentioned above or use Factiva for news searching while this problem is resolved.
