New automatic email notifications will help you track your Offsite requests!

An email notification system was recently implemented for all Offsite requests. Now, an email will be sent to you after every request submission. The email confirms your name, time of request, citation and approximate delivery date. It also provides staff contact information so you can address questions or problems.

What is Offsite, anyways?

Offsite, aka ReCAP, is Columbia University Libraries’ off-campus shelving facility located in Princeton, NJ. Columbia University operates ReCAP jointly with Princeton University and New York Public Library.

The Libraries has accessioned more than 3.6 million objects at our Offsite facility. When you request material from Offsite, it will be delivered to a library at Columbia within 2 business days.
