In addition to student employment, the Libraries provides internships in several fields: primary sources and special collections, digital scholarship, and academic librarianship.

Spring 2026 Ask a Librarian Intern Joseph A. Torres-González applied his internship experience and other scholarship to “rethink, revamp, and reorganize the [Libraries’] existing United Nations Resources Guide.”

Graduate Student Intern in Primary Sources Jessica (Jingyun) Lin, GSAS‘26, delves into the papers of the “grandfather of climate science,” Wallace Smith Broecker, held by the Rare Book & Manuscript Library.

Pedagogy Intern Saka Davaajav with the Libraries’ Digital Internships Program recounts her work to plan and lead a hands-on, introductory workshop that integrated her experience in climate, data, geographic information systems (GIS), and mapping.
