The Cordial at the Libraries Is July 28 at the Rare Book & Manuscript Library!

by Jessica Gentile, Social Media Intern

The Cordial is a happy hour where faculty and instructors are invited to meet and mingle with informational professionals from the Libraries, CCNMTL, and CDRS over wine and cheese. The Cordial is hosted at different libraries throughout the year, giving Columbia teaching staff a fun way to explore Columbia’s libraries and information services.

The next Cordial is on Thursday, July 28 in the Rare Book & Manuscript Library on the 6th floor of Butler. The library owns over 500,000 rare books in some 20 book collections and almost 28 million manuscripts in nearly 3,000 separate manuscript collections. Currently on display in RBML is "This Is: Tennessee Williams & Friends," a collection of paintings and personal items belonging to the late playwright.
