Here at Columbia, we are offering these Love Data Week events:
- LabArchives Love Data Week 2026 (virtual) is a weeklong series of events dedicated to helping you improve the organization of your data while taking steps towards better overall data management through LabArchives electronic research notebooks. Columbia affiliates can access LabArchives by following these instructions.
- Introduction to working with data in OpenRefine (virtual)

Wednesday, February 11, 2026 4:10 PM – 5:20 PM - An R Refresher: Exploring Files and Dataframes with the Tidyverse (Butler Library)
Thursday, February 12, 2026 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
If you’ve used R before but aren’t yet an expert, need a refresher, or want to level up your skills, this hands-on, interactive workshop is for you. Through practical examples, we’ll explore how to use R effectively with the tidyverse package to make data analysis, visualization, and working with tables and dataframes more intuitive and fun.
